Can you tell us how you came up with the idea of launching a new advertising format on Telegram?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The idea itself lies on the surface: Telegram is a potentially attractive source of traffic. The number of users will soon reach one billion. As it stands, Telegram&#8217;s advertising isn&#8217;t very convenient for affiliates. There are a lot of restrictions, and ads launch needs to be handled through agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We began considering ways of making running ads on Telegram easier, and explored options for doing so. Hamster Kombat&#8217;s rapid rise led us to focus on mini-apps, find owners of large ones, and test advertising there. There were a lot of users in mini applications, and we liked their high response to a new type of advertising. What is more important: we liked the results we got.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Native advertising in Telegram mini apps<\/strong> is an innovative channel with a huge traffic base, which nobody uses \u2014 that&#8217;s what we bet on.
