Our client has experience with running popunder ads with RichAds. And he has some experience with casino offers in Bangladesh as well.
This time he decided to test a new offer from the Yellana CPA network. It was a casino offer — Lotto Agent. The main goal there was an FTD (first-time deposit) but the client also took into account the registrations to optimize the ad campaign.
To determine the offer, the client analyzed information from RichAds: the percentage of users using a specific browser language. The results showed that 87% of users prefer the English language. This became pivotal in choosing the Lotto Agent offer, which includes a casino with an English interface. Moreover, knowledge of English in Bangladesh is considered an indicator of higher income, hence a greater likelihood of making the first deposit.
Solution
Analyzing the market, the client realized that simple LP (landing pages): pre-landers with the «wheel of fortune», and registration forms are most popular. The client chose two strategies for testing: the first with a pre-lander featuring the «wheel of fortune» + registration form, and the second with just a registration form.
Setting up campaigns
Two campaigns were created to test which would work better. The campaigns targeted mobile traffic, with language browser selection limited to English. There was also a restriction of 2 impressions per user per day, and the launch was conducted on Manual CPC — manual mode for setting up and optimizing the campaign. Whitelists were obtained from our manager. Over 10 days, the client assessed the performance of his landing pages, starting with a daily budget of $150 and a bid of $1.7, which was below the average bid for the GEO. The results were as follows:

The second stage of launching
After the initial stage, the client decided to increase the bid to $2.5 and raise the daily budget from $150 to $250. This not only allowed him to boost traffic but also attracted a broader audience.
After 12 days, the higher bid strategy resulted in an increased conversion from impressions to registrations. Here are the results:
With these metrics, he decided to stop these two advertising campaigns and sought advice from his personal manager on what else could be done.
Third stage: transition to Performance Mode
After the successful first two stages, the client approached the RichAds manager for additional recommendations. The manager suggested transitioning to the Performance Mode optimization.To do this, he disabled Manual CPC, which the client had used previously, and after that switched to the best optimization method — Performance Mode.
Performance mode automatically updates whitelists daily, often leading to increased conversions. However, clients can still optimize the ad campaign independently.
The client copied his two advertising campaigns and applied the Performance mode to them. They decided to start with a bid below average — $1.7. The daily budget was $200, and the campaign ran for 11 days, showing the following results:
Next, our gambling case client decided to increase the bid to $2.5 and the daily budget to $400. After 10 days, he decided to pause the advertising campaign with the registration form LP. Although Performance mode increased the conversion rate for both campaigns, the option with the "wheel of fortune" on the landing page proved more promising. The campaign ran for an additional 31 days. The statistics for the gambling campaign:
The cumulative ROI across all advertising campaigns was 66%. The client successfully tested various strategies and LP, considering the recommendations from the RichAds manager. Halting less successful campaigns and increasing bids allowed them to achieve a high level of conversion and profitability. Notably, Performance mode outperformed Manual CPC when driving gambling traffic.
