I wanted to collect registrations in India for a gambling offer with target CPA of $4,5.
My target payment model was CPA (with the action being a registration), but I decided to launch
a
CPC campaign with RichAds for a test.
I tried to run ads with push notifications, native widgets, and popunders.

Solution
At first, I tested 3 RichAds formats: push, native, and pop ads.
After several weeks:
push ads showed the best performance from the
start.
native ads were not the best choice for this
campaign and showed no conversions during the 2-day test.
popunder format was tested for 2,5 months and
helped me to scale up successfully.
At my request, my AM took over all management of this campaign from its set up, creating and
testing creatives to optimization.
I decided to use landing pages without any pre-landers for this offer and also added a couple of
my own proven creatives.

With correct campaign set up, A/B tests of all creatives and auto-optimization, push and pop
ads
let
decreased the average CPA and CPC to the minimum ($3.5 and $0.006 accordingly).
CPC pricing is working best in this case as the “action” (registration) appears to be
cheaper
than I
expected in CPA campaigns.
After 4 months, I’m still running this campaign and collecting data, Satisfied with the
performance
of traffic for now.
