Tier 4 countries

What is Tiers in affiliate marketing

All countries in the world of affiliate marketing are conventionally divided into 3 groups (Tiers). No surprise, Tier 1 includes the most attractive countries for an advertiser, Tier 2 and 3 combine developing countries.

Economists classified three categories of countries: developed, developing, and third world. Their evaluation is based primarily on the economic development of the country. Affiliates divide countries into Tiers in a different manner. The focus was on the solvency of buyers and their average income.

One more point was also important: online payment. At first, it was only available in highly developed countries like the USA, Canada, Western Europe, and Japan. Online payments and cards were a novelty in other countries, but affiliate marketing was flourishing there. There are now many payment methods available to almost every part of the world: credit cards, Internet banking, SMS payments, etc.

Also, the political situation influences getting into a particular group in the country and the peculiarities of its laws.

All these characteristics make it possible to divide countries into 3 main groups or Tiers.

They include countries with an unstable political situation and a banal lack of advertising channels. It consists of small states as well.

How to choose the best country for your ad campaign from all Tiers?

The traffic volumes of advertising networks are divided according to the devices they originate from. This information is vital for advertisers who launch mobile offers. If the offer is not tailored for a specific device, it will not be excessive to consider volumes for desktops, mobiles, and tablets.

86% of RichAds push traffic comes from mobile devices.
Desktop traffic makes up 10%, while tablet traffic makes up 4%. Meanwhile, some countries in the ad network have a lot of desktop traffic.
